Krya Vrysi Beach – The Southern Extension of Agia Anna in North Evia

Krya Vrysi Beach is one of the largest beaches in the Municipality of Mantoudi–Limni–Agia Anna and is considered the southern continuation of the famous Agia Anna (Agkali) Beach. It is washed by the refreshing Aegean waters and is known for its soft, golden sand both on the shore and in the sea.

The Beach

Krya Vrysi combines natural beauty with comfort. At the entrance, the organized section comes alive every summer with beach bars, cafés, and traditional tavernas serving fresh fish. For those who prefer tranquility, the coastline extends southward with more secluded spots ideal for swimming and relaxation.

The Village and Facilities

In the heart of the beach lies the small seaside settlement of Krya Vrysi, a growing destination featuring cafés, tavernas, and family-run studios. The area has developed into a cozy summer resort that maintains its authentic local charm while offering all modern conveniences.

Historical Connection

The area of Krya Vrysi coincides with the site of the ancient city of Kirinthos, one of the most important cities of ancient Evia mentioned by Homer. Visitors can thus enjoy not only the natural landscape but also a place steeped in history.

How to Get There

The beach is located about 3 km south of Agia Anna and is easily accessible by car via the coastal road. There is convenient parking near the organized section, while further down you can find quieter, more natural parts for a peaceful swim.
